STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND GENERAL TRADING INFORMATION

Policy: It has always been our policy to treat our customers in exactly the way we like to be treated ourselves. Our toes curl at the sight of small print, but it appears that not only to add to our creditability but to comply with legislation, we are required to supply you with this document.
Data & Privacy: The information collected from you at the time you place an order will be stored in our database and is used purely to carry out your instructions and manage your account (unless you have indicated otherwise). There are no circumstances under which, this information might be passed to a third party.
Products: We reserve the right to alter any details of products advertised without notice and while every effort is made to describe goods accurately in the advertisement, no warranty is given as to accuracy and no responsibility will be accepted for error or mis-description and any resulting loss.
Supply: We undertake to supply you with the goods described in our Web pages or brochure by any normal time you might reasonably request. If you have an urgent order it is always advisable to discuss your requirement on the telephone 0800 0851 451.
All orders are accepted subject to our standard terms and conditions.
Prices: All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT and carriage, and may be subject to alteration without notice.
Delivery: Obviously, you the customer, recognise that we do rely on TNT Carriers (or other suitable carrier for overseas deliveries) to perform the 'contract'. We monitor the performance of our carriers continuously. Whereas we have so rarely had a complaint about the quality of our goods, there have been a very small number of occasions (less than 0.01%) when due to circumstances entirely beyond our control our goods have not arrived by the requested time. As soon as we learn of this we contact the carriers and obtain their reasons for non-delivery and a best estimate time that your order will arrive.
Carriage is free of charge on all orders of £199 and over (excluding VAT) for standard next day delivery to mainland UK. Orders under £199 will be charged at £7.99 + VAT to mainland UK. Areas outside mainland UK will be charged at cost.
Claims: Notification of non-delivery or damages must be received in writing within three days. Any goods that are received damaged must be signed for as damaged or as unchecked to be entitled to a claim. If possible, photographic evidence of damage would be helpful and will assist in supporting your claim.
It is essential the number of boxes received correspond with the number on the carrier’s delivery note before signing. If any part of the order has been signed for but not received, we are unable to process a claim against the carrier.
If you request goods to be left at your premises without signature, SX Environmental Supplies or the carrier cannot be held responsible should the order be damaged or short in any way.
PLEASE NOTE: SX Environmental Supplies Ltd will not be held responsible for any associated or third party costs arising from delivery issues (such as due to late, damaged or non-deliveries) or delivery of wrong items.
Guarantee: In the light of the forgoing you will appreciate we feel confident that we can unequivocally guarantee your total satisfaction with our product and service. Again you should note that your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected (more probably enhanced).
Warranties: SX Environmental Supplies Ltd offer a one-year guarantee on all products and will happily replace defective stock as long as the item has been used as per manufacturers’ instructions &/or for fair ‘wear and tear’. Items returned under warranty will be inspected upon arrival and a decision to replace made by ‘The Management’.
